Krishna-Warana Sangam is located near the Haripur village of Miraj taluk in Sangli district, Maharashtra state, India. Haripur is a small beautiful village situated at the confluence of Krishna and Warana rivers. Haripur is famous for the production of Turmeric and Tamarind. Here one ancient Lord Shiva temple is there called Sangameshwar temple. Krishna-Warana Sangam is the temporary nest for Migratory Birds.

              River Warana originates at Prachitgad near Patharpunj plateau in Satara district and flows out from Chandoli Dam (Warana Dharan) & meets River Krishna at Haripur near Sangli City. River Warana is the sub-river of River Krishna. River Krishna originates at Mahabaleshwar in Western Ghats in Satara district and flows about 1400 KM and converges in the Bay of Bengal near Hamsaladeevi village of Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.

          Krishna-Warana Sangam of Haripur is the favorite evening walk place of Sanglikars. It is just a 3.2 KM drive from Sangli city and located beside the Sangli-Kolhapur highway. Now some developments are taking place here from the tourism perspective. In future days, it will be a famous tourist place in Sangli district.
