Raybag Rajwada or Shivteerth Mahal is located in the Raybag city of Belagavi district, Karnataka state, India. This is the summer palace of Shrimant Chatrapati Shri Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur, Maharashtra. It was built between 1904 to 1911. It has 26-acre big beautiful lake, Amba Bhavani temple, and Mahadev temple. During the summer season, the whole office of Shri Shahu Maharaj used to shift to Raybag Rajwada from Kolhapur. It was a beautiful palace. But due to the lack of maintenance, it was destroyed partially. Now only some remains have remained there. Now it is not suitable for tourist visits. To honor the Maratha Kingdom and remember the memories of Shri Shahu Maharaj, we listed this place in our Roaring India project. If you want to visit there, then go during day time and go with a group of friends for safety.
