As this temple is located in the Agrani river, it is called Agrani Sangamnath temple. This temple has been built by taking inspiration from Kudalsangam. This place is the Mini Kudalsangam. This is the perfect place to explore the beauty of the river Agrani. River Agrani arrives from Khanapur taluk of Maharashtra and joins the River Krishna in Athani taluk.
